This is part of Ren & Stimpy's life sucks animatic, the claymations my ad-on.
It took approxamately two days (16hrs) to make the claymation, from very first crappy sculpt to the final crappy animation and render.
I worked really fast just for some fun.
When I first saw the original (animatic) I loved the idea of the "Golden Book" style of animation.
But when I watched it the second time, the pages turning made me think of the 60's Christmas claymations with Rudolph, Frosty and the likes.
This got me inspired, plus the fact that I've just made some toys of John K's characters, to make something super fast to see what it may look like (you may have to use a lot of imagination to picture something cool from my attempt) if it were in that 60's clay style meets (maybe with the BG's painted) brilliant artist Mary Blair.
